“Responsibility: The nonrecognition and denial of the right of intervention between oneself and any being, idea, matter, energy, space, time or form, and the assumption of full right of determination over it.” - LRH, Scientology Ethics

Our mission is born from of the definition of responsibility. OT VIII, Gere Isene put it well when he said, “Scientology does not equal the Church of Scientology.”

RediscoverScientology.com and Scientology-cult.com are pro LRH and pro Scientology. You will not find any OT data on either site.

Both websites were created with the help of many by me, Steve Hall. I also write under the pen name of Thoughtful. You can read an informal bio about me here. Or you can visit www.stevehallcreative.com. My experience at Int management spans some 20 years. I left in March 2004 after witnessing David Miscavige physically assault a number of people.

The purpose of both websites are to enable 3rd dynamic auditing. The purpose is to audit out group engrams and return the Church to sanity. So we aren't just trying to criticize or natter or spin in circles. We are actually trying to reform the church by exposing the withholds. In other words, we are using Scientology to correct Scientology.

Both websites are also a great example of what LRH called a multiple viewpoint system; this makes it a safe place for people to understand what is going on, because they can see the situation through multiple sets of eyes.

Differences

These two websites have slightly different purposes: Scn-cult is the high-profile whistle-blowing website, designed to be the primary platform whereby our group can run out the 3rd-dynamic engram of David Miscavige. RediscoverScn features only selected articles cherry picked from Scn-cult as an introduction. The idea is Scientologists can start with RediscoverScn and graduate to Scn-cult for the fuller picture.

So RediscoverScientology.com is the little sister of Scn-cult which is quickly growing pretty big in its own right. Sort of “Scn-cult Lite.” It is for Scientologists who want to know the truth but who are offended by any use of the word “cult” -- not understanding we are relating that word to what David Miscavige has created, not what LRH created since there is no inherent reason the philosophy Scientology has to be a cult. It has simply been made into that by David Miscavige.

Scn-cult got its name because the phrase "scientology cult" is the #2 most popular search phrase on the subject of Scientology. The #1 most popular term is simply the word "scientology." So in that domain name I acquired both the #1 and #2 search terms, and it is one reason that if you search for "scientology cult" this website usually #3 out of nearly 9 million search results. That is like running a marathon against 9 million people and coming in 3rd. Not bad, especially considering that remarkable ranking was achieved in only a few months. (Besides being a writer, I have some expertise on web design and SEO (Search Engine Optimization, i.e., how to achieve excellent ranking on Google).

Creating a safe environment

Through destructive actions David Miscavige has damaged Scientology’s reputation so badly that general public are rightfully suspicious (by survey) of the Church. A 2006 Gallup poll found that Scientology as the lowest regarded religion on Earth. Other surveys confirm this fact.

People do not trust what the Church says about Scientology because representatives from the Church do not tell the truth. An example is Tommy Davis denying the practice of disconnection on national TV. On Oct 26, 2009: Tommy Davis told AP News, “The church doesn’t mandate disconnection with anybody." He also told John Roberts on CNN, “There’s no such thing as disconnection… it just doesn’t happen.”

LRH canceled disconnection in HCO PL 15 Nov 1968, Cancellation of Disconnection. LRH did not authorize the reinstatement. David Miscavige ordered Robert Vaughn Young to write the issue covering the reinstatement of disconnection which is a matter of government record.

Additionally, the Church continues to demonstrate criminal irresponsibility. Against charges of criminality, Tommy Davis answers “But we’re expanding!” as if that justifies crime or makes sense.

Transpose this into another field:  Let’s say the “Acme Corporation” is engaged in criminal activities and several lives have been lost. Whistle blowers go online and report specific criminal activity they’ve seen to warn others of the danger and to eventually to bring justice and a reformation. Instead of admitting guilt and cleaning house, Acme Corp says they are “expanding like never before” = utter nonsense.  There are no valid justifications for crime. The world knows this. The Justice Department knows this. Why doesn’t David Miscavige know it?

Out-ethics people live in a delusional world. They are blind to their own out ethics.

Non-Scientologists who are leery of the David Miscavige’s Church do not trust the Church’s own claims as to the benefits of Scientology. Non-Scientologists don’t know the correct target. So their hostility and antagonism -- which is being generated by David Miscavige -- is generalized toward LRH and toward the subject of Scientology rather than the organization and it’s criminal leader. For example, the public are outraged by the practice of disconnection. Well, the reinstatement of that policy came directly and only from David Miscavige who falsely used L. Ron Hubbard’s name. The public won’t believe anything published by the Church, but they will look at a whistle-blowing website because we fit the picture: we are doing the right thing. Thus we have a chance to get our clear up a lot of confusion and present the correct Why: a wolf has gotten into the hen house.

“By out-ethics we mean an action or situation in which an individual is involved, or something the individual does, which is contrary to the ideals, best interests and survival of his dynamics.” -- LRH, from HCO PL Ethics, Justice and the Dynamics

Fixing the Church of Scientology is not a matter of public relations or advertising or marketing. It is a matter of getting honest and straight, and coming clean. Being honest with non-Scientologists creates tremendous interest in the tech.

Try it. You will find honesty works. Why? Because only then are you dealing in reality. Reality increases affinity, communication and brings about understanding. So simple it hurts.

So is there a liability to being honest? No. There is a distinct liability to covering up the truth, not the least of which is remaining under the influence of suppressive individuals and groups.
